If you ask me what I like to do on a Saturday night, one of the things is going to praise nights. Usually, I only get to go to ones at my church, but yesterday, I went to one at Arcadia Presbyterian Church, which was hosted by Arcadia High’s Allies Christian Club. Given the fact that I had a few FCBC friends+friends that I met through Kat+friends I met through ASB, it was pretty cool. There were probably 30-40 people in attendance, which is not too small for just high schoolers.
Going into it, I thought hmmm, well this could be really interesting. The worship team was really good and it was just a nice different setting of worship. The lights, the loud music, the bass, the drums, the electric, the keys— everything was really cool! We sang songs that I haven’t sang before or songs that I haven’t sung in forever, and it was just such a blessing. I loved it. For approximately 2 hours, we just worshiped. Singing, dancing, jumping, praying— you name it. It reminded me of the Hillsong worship night that I went to back in December. I think I was just as exhausted after this one, as I was after that night.
It was a blessing. And it was a beautiful one too ♥
